But what's neat and what I really liked about your story...you sound like Lauren! You are the kind of person who can be friends with an old flame, and be genuinely happy for their happiness. That is the mark of a pure heart.

I feel your pain, Aimee! This is why Wayne and I don't travel more. I worry, stress, and fret about being away from my crew so much it's hard for me to enjoy myself. Somehow I come home and they're always fine and super delighted to see me, but I don't think their tails ever wag as much as mine do!!! Have a great trip home!!!!

One option, if it's available, might be to get a DNA breed test done. I know they have Doggie DNA tests to determine breeds for dogs, but I don't know if they have it for cats.

Also, have you tried looking at the Cat Fancier's Assn? http://www.cfainc.org/breeds/profiles/egyptian.html Another description that might help you determine what your cat is.

Or maybe contacting someone at Egyptian Mau Rescue Org to see if they could identify by a pic you email them? http://www.emaurescue.org/

I tried to get him to talk but all I got as a cold shoulder. But then once he came around and wanted to talk to me, I was so mad at him because I didn't think I was "that" bad to deserve that so I didn't talk to him for a day or so. 3 very silent days in our house... Good question!

Way to go, Tristi! I also tend to rebel against my husband's ultra-health conscious goodness, but lately I've found myself eating (gulp) more fruits and veggies and the way I "should" eat. And exercising everyday, but not so much because it will make my body look better as because mentally I can cope with stress so much easier and I just overall feel better. Maybe something's in the water that's making us be like this lately??? It's just sort of neat to read about someone else going through it too. ;)

Money's kind of like fame, it enhances what's already there. Meaning, if you get fame and you're inclined to be irresponsible and have a big head, the fame will expound that. Same goes for money. Like you said, more of it certainly won't help spending habits. It'll just facilitate it more. You hit the nail on the head saying you have to work on the issues. Great blog.
