Flea and Tick Prevention Options

03 Sep 2007 03:25 PM

A neighbor across the street started using the spray-on variety of Frontline because it was a little cheaper overall. (Got more and it lasted longer for less price.)

HOWEVER, she's since discontinued using it because Otis would get nuts when she sprayed it. He'd run and roll in the dirt and rub up against the bushes and even the side of the house. He never did that with the kind in the little bottle, and she couldn't figure it out. Until she accidentally sprayed some on her and it burned like crazy. She felt so bad and promised Otis she wouldn't use it on him anymore. He's very content she went back to the other kind from what I hear. =)

Amazon Shorts: Quick Reads for Cheap

They have ALL kinds of stories there, Tristi. If you do try it'll be interesting to hear how you liked it and how you decided on whatever one you bought. ;) (That was my problem...deciding on just one. That's why I've gone back and bought more and have more on my radar to get. =)

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. Had you bought it before reading this, or did you try it after? Either way, it's neat to hear from someone else who tried the Amazon Shorts program too!

Thanks for your comments, ladies! I agree wholeheartedly with Janet, and I'm with you, Michelle --I certainly hope her brother does like dogs. If he doesn't, she certainly saw to it he can pay to hire a pet lover (or 2...or 8) to tend to Trouble. ;-)

Vick Pleads Guilty: Ready to Stop Hearing About Him?

Yeah, I saw a portion of his press conference too and had to wonder if his sincerity was genuine or extremely well rehearsed. I don't think he can just all of a sudden change this quick either. But some will be taken in by a good act every time...

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. =)

What a beautiful message, Chaplain. (I'm not quite sure the right way to address someone of your stature???) Well said. This is how I think I've been feeling all along....it's not a matter of comparison. All wrongs are equally wrong. Thank you for sharing these very beautiful thoughts.

Sorry to hear about your arm, Dale. I hope you're back to writing (and doing all the other day-to-day stuff you're probably wanting your arm for) soon!
