Is Swaddling Overrated? - Blog Entry

12 Nov 2007 09:51 AM

izzy is a swaddled baby, she doesn't sleep more than 10 minutes otherwise. we have a special blanket that "pins" her arms down, her feet go in a pouch then she's wrapped around. it focuses on her arms, not her legs or hips. and actually, she doesn't really care if she's in the pouch or not, as long as her arms are pinned she's happy & knocked out (which means i'm happy). she wont stay in it unless she's tired -- and knows exactly how to get out of it in 2 minutes or less.

Why Enfamil Supports Breastfeeding - Blog Entry

22 Aug 2007 07:17 PM

funny you should write a blog on this. just last week i received a package (yes...a PACKAGE) containing 2 full sized cans of formula from enfamil. Now i have no idea how they got my address or any of that information, as i have never even been to enfamil's site, but sure enough i have 2 large cans of formula sitting on the floor of my pantry. (and they'll remain there until i find someone to give it to).

Breast Milk does WHAT? - Blog Entry

14 Jan 2007 09:39 PM

"In fact, if your nipples are cracked as a result of nursing, one of the things you do to prevent infection is rub a little breast milk into them when you're finished nursing." i read this actually makes the cracking worse. (like licking your lips makes chapped lips worse).

but the pink eye is a genius idea!
