It is very natural and she goes to bed and awakens just beautiful. Another friend had her eyeliner done. Not good results. Not removeable either. If you plan to have this done, get a professional you trust. Thank you, Michele! Don't Confuse Organization With Buying More Stuff (2) - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 07:00 AM Great tips, Nicole! Baby food jars, margarine containers with lids, Cool Whip bowls all can be used to organize items in your home. Recycling can mean reorganizing for free! In the News: Moms Spend As Much Time With Kids Today As They Did 40 Years Ago - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:58 AM Myra, that is interesting information. I am trying to figure out that if in 1965, 60% of the Moms were stay at home Moms.......how today's families have only 30% of Moms staying at home..... it would mathematically seem that there is a 30% difference. Perhaps, parents these days make an effort to spend more time with their children, than 40 years ago. Your Purse's Dirty Little Secret - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:54 AM Good healthy tips, Michele! Either place your bag handle around your neck when going to the bathroom, on the hook on the sidewall, or place a papertowel down and then your purse. Doesn't hurt to sanitize it the bottom of your purse frequently. Don't forget to wash your hands! Ten Terrific Uses for Soap Shavings - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:52 AM Great pointers and tips, Nicole. Many people just press a softened small piece of soap to the new bar of soap. Best to recycle and use to the end to get your money's worth. The Negative Effect of Globalization on Rape - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:50 AM What a sad, sad story! I had not even thought about young people traveling from country to country and laws being so different. I'm glad you were there to help this young woman in her distress and being the victim in this crime (or not crime.....in the country where it occured). Thank you for sharing, Megan! Breaking the Overdraft Cycle - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:46 AM Thank you for pointing out a serious financial mistake that some folks get into a vicious, never ending cycle. It was good to point out how to break the cycle also. Best advise: Do not do this to begin with. Thank you, Miriam! Bible Stories: John the Baptist - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:44 AM Lisa, thank you for sharing with us about John the Baptist. It is always refreshing to reread a Bible passage and gain new insight and meaning. Is Gambling a Sin? - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:42 AM There are many types of gambling we probably don't even consider gambling: Bingo held at church or community halls, Lottery tickets: choosing numbers or scratch offs, Local football parents club sponsors 50/50 drawings, Local Catholic Church sponsors a yearly drawing for a house, and various prizes that are for $100 per ticket. ********** One man, a member of our church, won a lot of money from the Lottery and he donated a big portion to the local church. One school of thought was that it was 'dirty' money and should not be accepted by the church. The other school of that was that all money has been dirty at one time or another (dirty real estate deals, leaving work early when getting paid for 8* from your boss, etc.) so this was no different. In the end, the church did accept the donation. Thanks for sharing about gambling. Dining Behind The Wheel - Blog Entry20 Oct 2006 06:34 AM Recently, I had a rental car for the weekend. Now, I do not know about you, but driving around town, to and from work, I always have a cup of coffee or a bottle of water with me in the cup holder. The worst part about the rental car was the cupholder was not placed for the driver...it was in the backseat. Talk about a small annoyance.
