Cathy, we all these cookies Swedish Thumbprint cookies. Sounds like a delicious recipe. Mom always used butter, no margarine in hers.

She also would leave the thumbprint empty and when the cookies cooled, fill with a decorative swirl of green or pink icing for Christmas.

They do freeze well....without the icing too.

I wanted to add around the dinner table to include saying grace is an excellent addition. We also would ask each other around the table, "What was the highlight of your day today?" It is a very simple question, but amazingly the kids enjoyed sharing about their day at school and DH with his work. It brings each of us a little closer, a little more connected.
