Great topic that is very relavent for our high school Teens Threads. My sons attended co-ed high school. There are other options available locally, but most of those are merging towards co-ed now.

This is a great recipe! Very similar to the one that my Mom and I have made for years. Actually, we prefer the chunky to the smooth for all, except for babies.

Kids need to do chores, to learn to do basic household jobs before they become adults; it helps them learn organization, and being able to start something and finish it. There does need to be a good balance between free time for kids as well as doing chores. Good discussion, Kori!

Every child loves to hear his mother's voice singing or humming.

Music brings generations together in joy and happiness.

At the hospital, we are supposed to wash our hands at least 15 seconds, with 20 seconds being better. That's "Happy Birthday" twice.

On vacation, it is great to be able to spread out in more than one small motel room with your entire family.

Research can be just like mathmatical numbers - they can be rearranged in so many different results, that the facts get skewed.

I truly cannot believe that formula is 'better' for infants or babies than mother's milk. (The exception would be a mother with a disease process like HIV +.)

I would also believe that genetics as well as environmental issues cause allergies and asthma/bronchitis/pneumonia.

In uterus, there are different things that can pass through the blood barrier from mother to baby.
