Interesting! I can recall my sons as infants doing this, but it was never explained, just accepted as the norm. Now we know why! Thank you for explaining this.

Broccoli Soup Your Kids Will Love

02 Feb 2008 02:04 PM

My kids have always loved homemade broccoli soup. One time DS#1 was small and he asked Grandma to make the broccoli soup, only to make it blue. Well, being a loving Grandma, she added the food coloring. A couple of days later, DH was very concerned over David's blue stools. LOL! You know what it was from.

Conduct Unbecoming

04 Dec 2007 07:27 PM

I would be curious as to what represents the inappropriate behavior too.

If he is fidgeting, vs hitting, vs spitting, vs not staying on task, vs yelling in class, vs excessive bathroom breaks.

Maybe the teacher needs to give him an extra assignment of reading or a workbook, for the down time he has when his work is done. She could have it be a book he enjoys as a positive tool.

I also have to say that being an intelligient, super smart person is one thing in life. Being able to fit in, have manners, follow ettique in social situations, and using social graces is another important thing in life to teach our children.

Is your son hyperactive? Just curious, if this is another thing that may be part of the issue.

Wishing you the best!
