As a veterinary technician.. I must tell you that male cats are at high risk for FLUTD. Please feed your male cat a high quality food.. (No Deli Cat does not cut it). Foods like Science Diet, and Nutro are the best, you will spend a bit more.. but worth it. And be sure to introduce canned food. The moisture is good for the kidneys. Encourage your cat to drink.. Adding a small amount of chicken broth to the water, or food is a good trick. There are products our there to help with the water. I have one that cycles the water.. cats like running water.. so that helps to encourage them. Good luck and love the furry faces.. spoil them.. that is why we have them..
