He would point at it and say "Trouble?" We would respond something like "Oh yes ! BIIIIG trouble !" he would then say "oh ok." He then would turn around and walk off happily. The point is children like everyone want boundaries. Proper discipline teaches children what boundaries cannot be crossed.
