As a business traveller I find them insensitive and sometimes boorish. Travelling with a baby was a nightmare; unlike other airlines I wasn't allowed the opportunity to board first EVER on Delta, even though I let the gate agent know that I had a baby. So by the time I got to my bulkhead seat, all the overheads were full with rollaboards, and the flight attendant wouldn't help, said I'd have to check my baby bag (with his food, milk, books) or disembark. At Burlington airport (where the lady was kicked off the flight for feeding her bub), there was a sheet of ice at the bottom of the steps leaving the aircraft, and Delta did not even bother to throw some sand on the ice. Finally, it took about an hour for our checked baggage to arrive in baggage claim. |
