Rebellion came easily but passed rather quickly, and I settled down with a kind, funny, supportive, wonderful man. He has become (and I hope will continue to be) everything to me and my best friend. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and am looking to pursue a Masters in Social Work (concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy). In the mean time I work in an assisted living facility for adults who are mentally retarded. It's rewarding work, and I enjoy it, but I know that my calling is in Marriage Counseling/Therapy (for whatever reason). I work hard at my own marriage both because it is everything to me and because, professionally, I would look a little silly with a failing marriage. I am always open to advice and comment and will not take offense to constructive comments or helpful suggestion. |
