I think coursework based assessments are better for seeing where abouts a kid is. So you have to get a bus from where you live, to the bus station and then another bus from the bus station to a bus stop near school. Normally though the local council but a few extra busses on during school starting and leaving hours that go along the route near schools from the bus station. I drive Micheal to school on the way to work, here most bus companies would not allow a child under 10 to travel alone and those who do, only allow travel during daylight hours, so during the winter they cannot get the bus to school alone. What is Hemp? - Blog Entry21 Aug 2009 01:07 PM Since being young I have had quite a few items of clothing made from hemp, hemp socks are good, they last a lot longer than cotton socks. Hemp is a more hardy plant as well, you don't need such a great amount of pesticides that are required for cotton and it gives you a greater yield. Most of the baby clothes we have are hemp, our baby wrap sling is hemp as well and hasn't stretched even though it has been used for three children. Love-Hate Toys - Blog Entry20 Aug 2009 04:38 AM I think it is a good idea, our children aren't allowed toy guns, knives or swords, we don't mind swords but giving a manic child a two foot long destroying stick, not such a good idea! We take the kids to play school once a week, a little boy there has a toy knife and he goes around stabbing people with it, his mum and dad think it is funny and even encourage him. I have a love hate relationship with lego, Jamie refuses to play with big lego pieces but he can't put the little ones together, so you have to spend ages putting pieces exactly where he tells you. Then it all ends up smashed up all around the house, so you are pretty much guaranteed to tread on some at night or it gets mauled by the dog. Lego was my favourite toy as a kid, I have a little car that you had to save tokens to, there were only 100 made and to get one I couldn't spend any of my pocket money for months. At the moment I am around 170lbs, I'm 6' 2", I used to always weigh from 200-210 lbs as I used to play a lot of rugby so I had quite a of muscle, though from the numbers it makes it look like I was fat. I've had a lot of knee operations and physio in the last 11 years, so no more sport and I'm not allowed to go over 180 lbs. Which with limited exercise I find quite hard, either hungry or putting on weight. I used to cycle until my last op, since then I can't bend my knee enough to peddle.
