And I Thought Declawing Was Bad? - Blog Entry

24 Jul 2008 02:34 AM

I hate it when owners or the police punish the animal for aggression, every animal is aggressive in some way but if it's to the point where it goes around biting people it's because the animal has not been taught not to bite. The police need to stop just putting the animals down and punish the owner instead.

What Would You Change about Him? - Blog Entry

22 Jul 2008 02:38 PM

I would change two things, one everything has to be just so, if he watches you cleaning or tidying he will explain that you are doing wrong and then tell me how he would do it. I would make him a little taller as it's a bit like being married to a pre-pubescent boy.

So This is Why They Call Her a Crybaby - Blog Entry

22 Jul 2008 04:45 AM

I live in the UK, I had never seen racism until I went to Florida about 7 years ago, quite a few times whilst in Disney parks we heard Americans calling black workers by the N name to their faces and behind their backs. Black people had the rubbish jobs, while white people had the better jobs. I travelled with a friend who is mix raced and everywhere we went Americans were extremely racist to him, white people would use the N word and Black people would shout abuse at him. Now it is known in the UK that some Americans can be a bit racist, which has been further proven by Obama, but until we went we didn't realise how bad it is. I still find when people I know come back from holidays from America one of the first things they talk about is racism. Obviously not all Americans are like that, but it is something that stops alot of people returning because of the extreme racism they saw. I know here a black person was arrested for calling another black person by the N name, it's not tolerated at all here and people are not allowed to say it on TV or radio, if they do during a live show they will be removed from that show. Last year a woman was removed from Big Brother by saying the N word.

The Case Against Joint Physical Custody - Blog Entry

22 Jul 2008 04:36 AM

Alot of my friends with children are not longer together, out of all of them those who have 50/50 custody of their children have far happier and grounded children than those who have children that live with one parent and are only allowed to visit the other parent. You use the arguement of consistency, but with 50/50 the children always know when they will be with each parent, where as when one parent has sole custody they are thrown from pillar to post with weekend visits, which is appalling.

Babies Are Most Likely to Get Bitten By a Dog - Blog Entry

22 Jul 2008 04:30 AM

The latest most likely to bite list placed the first dog as a chihuaha and none of those dogs listed were on it as they are not aggressive breeds, like the terrior for example who nip to say no.

Babies Are Most Likely to Get Bitten By a Dog - Blog Entry

21 Jul 2008 01:43 PM

None of those dogs are in the top ten of most likely to bite, the labrador is most likely to bite, not due to agression but because people are more likely to approach them. Breed has nothing to do with aggression in the slighest.

Assisting Learning Disabled Kids with Homework - Blog Entry

21 Jul 2008 10:46 AM

At our school we provide parents with children with learning disabilities lots of explanation sheets for homework so if they don't know the answer, or struggle to explain it, which can be quite hard they have a back up with them. Also so if a question is answered wrongly mum and dad can explain how to do it right too as for some children that works better than a teacher explaining it. We have seperate homework clubs at dinner and after school which are optional some are for anyone and some are for those with learning difficulties and done in the style that each student wants, so they don't have to learn in a way that doesn't suit them.
