Rules of Fighting - Blog Entry

You know what, I actually love a good arguement, ours are always for stupid reasons such as a tissue being left in a pocket, which then ends up in the washing machine, which is clearly the end of the world. Or Frank will do really wierd tests, like he left a tissue on the stairs to see how long I would ignore it, then when he realises I'm not going to move it, he comes stomping along.

In the UK there has a great shift in people adopting from America as it is so much easier and there are far less checks and regulations. For a UKer adopting in America many rules can be ignored, such as children adopted in America must remain in America as one example.

Things are so much simpler here, phone up book an appointment and give your name, it's your doctors job to read your medical history, not yours. Also we don't have insurance as healthcare is free, so thats another step removed.

So, Your Child Wants to Play Guitar - Blog Entry

30 May 2008 03:35 PM

I'm a guitar and bass player, all amps now come with a headphone jack so you can blast your ear drums without disturbing anyone else. Though what I would say is that if the strings are not high off the fret board, the guitar is faulty and will not produce tuned notes at all, even one of these broken guitars will cause blisters and bleeding anyway then you get calluses so no more pain. You can get fairly decent start packs now which include everything you need, the equipment will last around two years too until a better guitar and amp is needed. $300! Here you wouldn't get a plastic guitar for that, damn our pound. I don't know if this is common everywhere but here if you take lessons for a very small extra cost you can rent a very good guitar from your teacher, I did that for nearly four years.

Cats Who Won't Groom - Blog Entry

She cannot be cut until 6 months as she would definately need to be sedated, otherwise the groomer would be mauled to death. Her hair is around six inches long at the moment, so she looks like a manic ball of fluff.
