Is asking for a raise a fairly common thing in america? Here it is not possible unless you are a temp worker for the NHS who has been sourced from abroad, other than that if you named your price or asked for a rise, you would just be laughed at.

nice double post there Here your child can be exempt for medical reasons, but if a school has any high risk children, such as those with CF or HIV the school is allowed to say no to any children without certain vaccines, especially the TB vaccine in the teenage years.

At the moment the British government are thinking of bringing laws in so that primary school children need major vaccinations, MMR and Tetanus Polio, to be able to go to school. They are also thinking of bringing the flu and chicken pocks vaccine here too.

Where I live back gardens only have side fences, so the back is totally open and backs onto an enclosed field which everyone shares, so all dogs have to get on otherwise they are not allowed outside unless it is time for a walk.

My mother was on HRT as she has to have her uterus and ovaries removed, after a month her body went mad so she was put onto the HRT patch, she was not on it for the maximum five years, when she first went on it she did retain quite a bit of water, but light exercise got rid of it. Now she is off it the original side effects she had due to lack of hormones have not returned and she came off the patch 4 years ago.

We have a very old kitchen, just over 100 years old so we have a very vintage sink which is ceramic, we don't have garbage disposal in the UK so no problem on that front, our sink has been reglazed once and that was because I dropped a metal door stop I was cleaning and it cracked the glaze.

In the UK the only graduation is graduation from university, you just leave schools and get on with it, here you don't graduate or fail school.
