It is always obvious when a students homework has been completed by their parent, if it is hand written you don't even have to read the piece to know, if typed you just look at the manner and style of the writing, nevermind the fact that normally a parent completed homework receives a grade nothing like what the student would normally get. Female Student Fights for Her Right to Wear Pants to Graduation - Blog Entry15 Jun 2009 06:59 AM The majority of schools in the UK have a dress code the same as our school or stricter. Female Student Fights for Her Right to Wear Pants to Graduation - Blog Entry14 Jun 2009 04:31 AM Girls are not allowed to wear trousers at any of the schools I have taught at and boys are not to wear skirts/dresses. I wouldn't work at a school allowing girls to wear trousers as they always look very scruffy as their trousers do not match their suit blazer. The boys at our school are not allowed to wear slacks, they must wear suit trousers, I don't know if slacks means something else to you, but to me it means everyday black casual trousers instead of smart trousers. What Sort of Marriage Is This? - Blog Entry04 Jun 2009 03:27 PM Rapists get very very lax sentences here in the UK at least, I hope I never have to, but if a victim asked me, I would have to tell them not to report it to the police. Here you are treated as the criminal and your name is plastered everywhere, then when the police don't bother to investigate properly or find the person, you are deemed either a liar or a cheater too ashamed to tell your partner. I'm Breaking Up with My Razor - Blog Entry02 Jun 2009 01:48 AM Its because the skin is always torn when waxing, you just cannot see it. Here salons are not allowed to give waxing treatments to those with diabetes. I'm Breaking Up with My Razor - Blog Entry01 Jun 2009 05:39 PM You have to remember diabetics cannot wax/pluck. I'm a man so I only have to shave my face, sometimes I get an old school shave at the barbers as a treat. Tricks of the Trade - Blog Entry29 May 2009 01:43 PM I get money off with my bank, I'm with Halifax, say I buy a new phone for £100, but find the exact same one in another shop for £70 within three months, my bank refunds me the difference, its brill!
