A little update

I've not written in a long time, Frank has been ill, glandular fever, we thought it was a hernia at first, his spleen remained okay though, so he isn't so bad at the moment.

None of us have caught it yet either, he was diagnosed just over three weeks ago, so he is no longer contagious so I would of thought we would be showing symptoms if we had it, I've been checking the children's glands in their neck and groins, all feel fine.

Apart from Frank being poorly things have been really good, Rosa is A-OK. Plus it is the easter holidays so we are back in England for a while, being able to stay home with Frank and the children everyday is lovely. I can't wait for the summer hols, our new school works differently so I will get three of the six weeks to myself, so I'm going to make the very most of that.

Pippa is doing really well on her feet, she tries to run, she will do it for a few steps then she stops dead because she has fallen over so many times, it is very cute to watch.

This weekend we've been teaching Mike's and Jamie about easter, they both like the chocolate version a lot better, Mikey especially considering he would happily overdose on the stuff. The coming back confused them both though, Jamie wasn't too bothered as he is still so young, but Mike's as well doesn't understand death, he will grasp it one day though. This year we are doing Christian festivals, we both feel there are too many in one year to cover every religion in a single year, Jewish festivals next year so that they can relate events to certain Christian ones, Mike's will remember quite a bit, Jamie probably want but getting the idea of different religions in his head is a start. Just St George's day left this month on the Christian front.
