Saint George

Is something we have been teaching the boys about recently, but they were both stuck on two things, why is it Christian, how come he England's saint if he isn't English. For the nationality issue we used the example of the Queen and King, one day they will get that Philip is a prince! With the saint issue being Christian we told them that Christian God guided the saints and told George how to slay the dragon to protect God's people, they stopped asking why and saying tell me, so they got it. 

Today the boys old play group had a Saint George's day event at the Muddle, so we went there and saw the dragon being slain. The muddle has a massive indoor children's play area, after about half an hour Jacob comes out crying, our first thoughts are 'Well, I bet that was Mike's' sure enough it was. But Jacob admitted that he kicked Mike's in the tummy and Mike's admitted that he kicked Jacob off but did it too hard, so we weren't too angry as they were both as bad as each other. 

Apart from that it was a really good day, but now they both want swords!
