On a side note: my husband's cousin received a note from school saying he had exceeded the allowablye days for being absent. When his mom investigated, she realized that practically every day gone had been for a band trip through the school! Now, there's a good reason to homeschool!

I second the Sunday bag! I am amazed at how quietly my almost-6 yo DD sits (most of the time). We keep it only for Sacrament to keep it 'new'.

www.flylady.net is a great housecleaning program. Though not LDS, she likes to keep Saturday as a family day and not "waste" it with housecleaning. Might help!

A homebound sister in our ward stated that she was offended that no one ever asked her to help. She said she was able to make dinners if someone could deliver them. I also heard of a sister consigned to bed who knitted or crocheted baby blankets. So as a 4b, look for ways they can continue to help serve.
