I was in nursery for a year, and while some kids were in total meltdown the whole time, others were fine once Mommy or Daddy walked out the door. Also, we learned with our third that it depended on who dropped him off. He would leave me in a heartbeat, but if Daddy took him to class, he would meltdown and not want to leave him.
