That depends on how old your kids are, but he can get feedback. I would include a preface of some sort regarding age/grade level as some of the feedback-leavers can be overly strict on grammar, etc, while others (it is an open site) can just be cruel (ie why dont u laern to spell). But he can get 'nonMommy' feedback, which may or may not be beneficial. They have several paid memberships, but also a free one. Valorie, loved the family journal! In Atlanta, where I just moved from, there is a subdivision whose HOA required decorating for holidays. We always went over for Halloween and I kept meaning to drive over for Christmas. Sick Kids = Sick Moms? - Blog Entry25 Nov 2006 09:57 AM This reminds me of a statistic I heard not long after my great-grandparents passed away. If one part of an elderly couple is seriously ill and being cared for by the spouse, frequently it is the spouse who dies first, or who becomes more seriously ill. My great-grandmother was sick for years and her husband cared for her before suddenly, surprisingly passing away first. I think the same conclusion was drawn as this study - the 'well' one put so much time, energy, and heart into caring for the sick one that it literally ran them into the ground, though this took a greater toll on someone older. That said, as a mom, I can definitely vouch for the study you mentioned! Whenever my kids get sick, I know I'm in for a rough time.
