Except, seriously - I am lucky. My significant other funds my extra scrapbooking purchases, in addition to my own purchases. He hops right in and helps to find the perfect papers, embellishments and supplies to go with certain pictures. I know not everyone is that lucky, but these stories sure made me laugh. Do You Want To See The Pictures? - Blog Entry08 Jun 2007 01:25 PM This is terribly sad. I'm just sitting here shaking my head. Thanks for letting us know about this Michele, because knowing me, I'd have probably watched the documentary and been in for a rude awakening. I have absolutely NO interest in seeing those photographs. For goodness sake, can't they just let the woman rest in peace, and let her family be? Garage Sales: Frugal Ways to Clean Up Your Stuff - Blog Entry01 May 2007 09:00 AM No way! I totally won't either. In fact, I think some people would be rather surprised, by how many people actually put items out that are trashed or dirty. It's nasty, and there is no reason to stick around at that point. Apparently they did not move over from the other server when we did the move. I will go back and edit them today, so that they appear there. Do You Want Free Stuff, or a Free Way of Life? - Blog Entry11 Apr 2007 07:43 AM While all five of my kids are currently enrolled in the public school system, I did homeschool before, and I have thought about it again. Our public school's here (speaking ONLY from experience) are NOT as good as homeschooling a child. When my son was in third grade, I had him doing math and science at a fifth grade level. Has the school tried that with my son? Nope. He is in sixth grade math and sixth grade Science, humming along, learning stuff he will never need to know again, and I am losing my patience. I was disgusted that ANYONE would think that parents do not have the right to undermind what the public school is doing with or to our children. HA! They are MY kids! I still think homeschooling is best. I always will.
