Another thought you migth consider, is that after you've used what you want of the jar of sauce, pour the remaining sauce into a freezer baggie and freeze it. Next time you want to make pasta, you can just drop the bag into warm water or allow to thaw out the day before in the freezer. This will eliminate waste! Enjoy!
