You should do it yearly if at all possible. Time capsules are great fun to look at in a scrapbook album, but in addition it's interesting to see how things have changed as well as to remember how things were even 4 years ago (remember when gas was only $1.00!!)

Yep no plastic flimsy bags here. We take the big tough hand decorated pillow cases with us every year and have not regreted it yet! More candy, more fun!! Yummy! I can hardly wait!

WWJD is something that is important for all kids. They aren't able to make those decisions for themselves and there is nothing more beautiful than knowing that you've somehow made a connection for a child between his or her life and God.

The book about the kissing hand is called that : The Kissing Hand and is a very popular picture to book about a Racoon going off to his first day of school. If you have never read the book you should seriously check it out of the library! IT's one of my favorites!!

oh my gosh this is absolutely adorable!! I love the you typed it exactly the way she wrote it!! My daughter is 8 and in 3rd grade too and they have to do the exact same thing every week. I love reading hers. Sometimes they make me laugh at what was important to her over the weekend. Too funny!

My favorite costume growing up was one that I had for years. It was a dress on a doll I had that was seriously as large as I was. The doll was sitting in the corner of my room and was a strange raggedy ann style doll. I put the dress on and we added make up and hair and I was a raggedy ann doll. It was sooo cute!
