This is the most ridiculous controversy to be publicly aired in quite awhile. I think it's because Miley is such a good girl they have nothing else to report on. The media had to find something and run with it. And of course the ridiculous parents have to jump on and get caught up in the whole media hype. Good gracious. Who cares if she was off the stage for a moment to change wardrobe. I actually think the effect it creates is AWESOME. Of course, I could be biased. I'm addicted to the gorgeous photographs on calendars, and every year our kids get a new one for Christmas with their "room" theme (so they match of course). We used one about a year ago to decoupage the cut out pictures on to my son's dresser. We painted it a dark navy sparkly color and then silhouetted the dragons from his calendar. Wal-mart MP3 Player Comes with Free Porn - Blog Entry04 Jan 2008 10:51 AM I'm not real sure about the whole Harry Potter thing. That is the video I see on display at a lot of places selling tv's. There are like 50 versions of it going on at the same time on every size screen imaginable. I guess because my children are older I never thought of it scaring them to be honest. My daughter has been watching Harry Potter since she was about 3 or 4 and I guess I have desensitized her to it (scary thought). More than likely the sales rep never even thought about it. The MP3 player - totally NOT cool. I cannot tell you how many times I have purchased something from Walmart that was SO obviously preused. It irks me and I know they DO put them back on the shelf - regardless of their store policy. I've lived all over the US and seen it at every wal-mart. Mardi Gras in Missouri - Blog Entry04 Jan 2008 08:33 AM Michele, I've been to this a loooooong time ago. Unfortunately my memory of it is not that great, however I remember having a lot of fun. There are a couple of people I know who live in St. Gen and go every year. If anyone is near the area, you should consider going at least once. It's fun and a great place to be for Mardi Gras.
