Babysitting at Six?????

21 May 2006 11:22 AM

That seriously has to be the most ridiculous thing I've heard. My daughter is 8 and I still cannot imagine her "babysitting" a classmate and following the child around, reporting back to the teacher. She herself still has her own problems to deal with. I'm busy as a parent, teaching my children to take care of themselves, not others. They need to focus on doing the right things on their own, not taking care of another person or being involved in someone elses problems. Our children are forced to grow up to soon, taking care of a classmate is simply nuts. Enjoy your lunch dad!
