Thank goodness it's over. I have never been too fond of that one particular night of the year. I am not much into the creepy costumes and decorations, as well as I hate all the candy my kids wind up with, that they want to eat constantly from the moment they receive it while walking away from a house, to the moment each individual piece is completely gone. However, I do love to see the smiles on their faces. I do love to see how much fun they have, and I love to see what they decide to dress up as for Halloween. So Halloween isn't all bad in my book. There was plenty of laughter, plenty of fun and overall I think we had a great time. Last night I had a witch, a goth princess, a dead cheerleader, a princess and a pirate. We were quite the costume parade marching up and down each of the streets. This was our first Halloween as a blended large family, and it was extremely fun. There was no fighting, no bickering, no tattling, just plain, clean fun! You can ask for much more than that.
I hope everyone else had a safe and Happy Halloween! No comments on this article yet. Be the first to comment! Discuss this article
