I have written Subway explaining, because of their choice to specifically exclude homeschoolers from this contest, I have also made the choice that my family will not be visiting any of their restaurants until their next contest, which would include homeschoolers. I did not make this choice to join an organized boycott or to promote one any more than Subway made its choice to inflame the homeschooling community. It is simply an exercise of my right to choice. Stop Overreacting to the NEA Resolution - Blog Entry30 May 2008 08:40 PM I may agree with the online petitions, however I don't think the NEA's threat to homeschooling should be minimized either. When they stop trying to run all children's education as if they are elected and own sole rights it, then I will stop reacting. Until then. . . all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. |
