Fitting two children into a full house

You never know how much space you'll need until you have some crisis like moving two children into your home. So things we've done to create space include:

1) taking old clothes, unused household goods, already read books, and such to charity

2) registering for our neighborhood yard sale (typically 40 or more families participate so we get lots of buyers) and setting aside spare unneeded large items for resale.

3) we built a closet underneath the stairs

4) bought books shelves and installed them

5) had to rearrange our laundry system using baskets

6) rebuilt a bathroom -- teens need their space

7) turned PC's wireless to remove cords

8) checked where everything was stored so it was found in only one place
