Try these four family oriented activities while you're in Honolulu

Honolulu, home town of Waikiki beach, is a wonderful place for sun and sand. But that's not all.

Try your children on one of these adventures. They're sure to have an interesting and educational time:

Honolulu Zoo-- A good walk past bird cages and naturally housed animals including komodo dragons, monitors, giraffes, and more.

Bishop Museum-- Features Hawaiian arts and crafts on display and in performance plus a planetarium and science museum.

Waikiki Aquarium-- Two hours spent at the aquarium will show you more coral reef, fish, and plant life than any amount of snorkeling. A first class place to learn.

Atlantis Submarine ride-- Somewhat pricey at about $100 per person but you discover that submarines aren't all that scary. Good views of artificial reefs and the sea creatures offshore Waikiki.
