With all the deployments where are all the ones left behind

OK, OK, OK long titile but seriously, when my husband did his tour, which back then they where much longer than they are now, I was one in a million here in the metroplex..but now everyone has gone and come back....my FRG (now) stinks, I had a great one when he was in Iraq  I had to travel to College Station and everyone there was like 12 and acted like 12 (I guess being a college town).  

So my goals is to find local spouses that I can offer help and guidance to or just be someone to vent to who understands....cuz its not the same as when you husbadn travels for work or works the night shift or is studying in medical school...ohh I use to hate when I was told they understood cuz their husband was gone...NO its not the same...my husband was in a war zone and I didnt or couldnt if I wanted to call him or check on him I had to wait and pray Id hear from him...then hated to have white cars pass my house...

Anyway so here is my fist blog or internet contribution ever...I guess journal will get easier?  ANd how do I really do this?  ha! wish me luck!
