Hello friends and family. I started this journal because I have enjoyed reading my friends journals, I hope it proves to be enjoyable for you. Recent news on the family; Shannon is enjoying her new school and went on a field trip where she rode her FIRST school bus. She said 'it was a little scary at first but then it was fun.

In Need of Advice

Drinking lots of water and eating healthy unprocessed food is always helpful. 6 small meals is better then 3 large meals. Good luck and don't give up.

green cleaning

I have used the olive oil and vinegar mix and love the results. Thank you. On a side a note for clogged drains, a non-toxic solution is a product called Zip It.

Take your shoes off?

We have always taken our shoes off, but let guests wear theirs. Some people take theirs off if they know us well and feel comfortable. Some people don't feel comfortable without their shoes.

question about newborns cord

I was told to use rubbing alcohol. My 3rd's spotted for a couple days after it fell off. Just keep it clean so no infection can start. Fold the diaper down under the cord, that helps so much.

My little cousin keeps getting pregnant :(

My half sister was in a similar situation with her 1st when she was 16, we tried to help but it didn't work out. She has a beautiful baby boy now, got pg again with a different guy but lost that one.

I agree about not washing anything and leaving the tags until you know. Don't stress out about it in the meantime, enjoy your pregnancy.
