Thankyou Jody for introducing us to the reality of how being seperated from birth families for adoptees has that lingering sense of deep loss, until identified, and validated, and with help can be faced and does not have to lived with without a resolution. You have put it very succinctly and in a clear way and I look forward to learing much from you and your wide experiences with the triad connections you have.

I would also like to say that i have found that in the adoption/fostering expereince I was not only seperated from family, but also from an entire culture and country, and heritage and understanding of what was lost to us all......your blog is a great starting place on the subject and gives me much food for thought .....now taht is truly a gain.
