Does My Work-at-Home Business Spoil My Children? - Blog Entry

29 Jan 2007 08:24 AM

Thanks Julie and Lisa! I appreciate your feedback. My three year old has been a bit overly demanding lately so I was seriously concerned that I might be "over-spoiling" her by constantly giving into her. My article was actually prompted after I spent the weekend with a working-mother friend. The entire time we were visiting, her kids were playing quietly while mine were trying to pull me into 8 directions.

Anyway...they are two and three, so I need to relax a bit. My "visiting" time will come soon, I am sure. =)

Many blessings you guys. Thanks for your comments!

Great point Michele! Many of my friends also ask me what I earn because they are interested in having a home-based business. Rather than getting annoyed so quickly...I need to stop and consider the motivation. Thanks for your insightful comments!

Has American Idol Gone Too Far? - Blog Entry

18 Jan 2007 05:40 PM

Yes! I really love American Idol but I have been getting annoyed that they seem to be getting more and more mean lately. (Are they scared they are going to lose ratings if they just feature really good voices?)

Anyway - I also feel like they are picking on people who are mentally ill. I know they are pre-screened and I am sure the producers are looking for a good show, but I don't think it is okay to pick on people who are clearly disturbed.
