Guns or No Guns?

People in NYC are generally scared to death about guns.  They won't even hold one.  I was raised in NM and TX and guns were all over the place, including in racks hung in the back window of pickups.  The guy down the street had a collection and we thought nothing of it. We were taught gun safety and shot only when supervised.
