Getting Pregnant After Birth Control - Blog Entry

03 Jun 2008 07:55 AM

Yes, it can take months for your cycle to return to normal after being on birth control, which does depend largely on how long you were on it. Give yourself time - say at least six months - to get back on track (or on track for the first time if you haven't been on track before). In the meantime, begin to nourish your body with herbal infusions and a good multivitamin, lots of fruits and veggies, and plenty of pure filtered water. Exercise will also help greatly in normalizing your hormone levels and regulating your cycles. I know what it's like to have difficulty getting pregnant, and at 41 years of age I have a 22-month-old and I'm pregnant with #2 who is due in one month.
