I am a HUGE fan of using garlic in my cooking, but I am always unsure of how to store it. Thank you so much!

You and Your Refrigerator - Blog Entry

Those are some great tips. I was just thinking today that I need to clean out my fridge. I definitely agree with you on the baking soda. Our freezer smelled a little funky when we moved into our apartment and since we put a box of baking soda in, the odor is gone.

HAPPY PURIM!!!! - Blog Entry

Happy Purim to you! I remember when I was growing up that my family and I would go to synagogue and my sister and I would both dress up like Queen Esther. My great-grandmother also had a recipe for homemade Hamentashen which she made every year until about 2 years before she passed away (she was 99).

It's great that you shared this. I am still about 10 years away from needing my first mammogram, but it is nice to know in advance. My mom always tells me how lucky I am that my girls are smaller than hers, but anyway...

One Size Does Not Fit All - Blog Entry

02 Mar 2006 05:09 PM

You know, it's funny the way the standards have changed. The gorgeous and popular Marilyn Monroe was 5'5 1/2" and weighed between 115-120 pounds. She was a size 12. The average supermodel 5-6 years ago was about 5'10" and weighed an average of 110-115 pounds. Now THAT's proof right there that one size does not fit all!

That is neat to think about. My cats only eat dry food, but that is an interesting alternative.
