At the risk of sounding like a teenager...

Well, I am less than a week away from seeing my parents go on a well-deserved and well-needed vacation. Yes, I probably sound like a teenager, but that's just the mentality you deal with when as an adult, you have to move back in with your parents.

Yeah, so the hubby and I have been facing many obstacles lately, including financial troubles.  Fortunately, my parents have been able to give us a hand up.  Actually, many hands up.  :-)  I am totally grateful.

In the meantime, I can't wait to have the house to myself for an entire week!  Well, my hubby, my daughter, and I.  You know what I mean!  I love the idea of us actually having the entire house to ourselves.  I look forward to cooking my husband a great birthday dinner on Tuesday night.  His birthday is Monday, but he is on-call Monday night.  If anyone has any great recipe ideas for the avid red-meat and hot-dog lover, I'm all ears!!
