Bio

Bernard and Patricia Sparkes are in no particular order one of many things. Their the busy parents of fourteen children, two of whom are autistic, the creators of the children's stories 'Shelltown' and last but not least the Sparkes duo also run a property letting business and a refuse company.

This all escalated from the beginning from when Bernard met and married Patricia in 1998 and bravely, due to the large number, took on Patricia's ten children as his own. All of Patricia's youngsters quickly took to their new Dad and welcomed him into the family as some would say the "new member" to the group. All went well between the couple and the kids you'd need to count on two hands! After this commitment the couple soon decided to have a further four children with the youngest now being four years of age.

To say that Patricia is fifty and has given birth to fourteen children you'd certainly wouldn't guess or even suspect such a thing! She keeps and eats a healthy diet and keeps herself active and fit. This has resulted with fantastic results! She is a trim size eight in jeans and often gets told and mistaken for being in the age range of about thirty. Tragically despite her good lifestyle, in 2006 she twice suffered suspected pulmonary Embolisms and on Christmas day, much to the dismay and worry of her kids, was rushed into hospital with severe fits but determinedly has battled through.

For business purposes the Sparkes family recently relocated and are now currently based in Spain. Still they have decided to keep a house in Northern Ireland for small trips in which they use for visiting old friends and family.

We are looking for projects that could include individuals or the whole family.
