Caregiver

I have been taking care of my parents for the last 4 years. I have enjoyed being with them. My Dad has dementia. He is like a two year old. He has a fit if he does not get his way. We have to repeat what we have said to him 3 or more time so he can understand, we hope. Mom is a Diabetic. She is doing will. But her back has arthritis in it really bad.  I work all day and come home to help with supper. Clean up, watch tv with Mom and Dad. Help Mom with her shower. Get them to bed. I can get to bed by 11pm. I am glad that my parents are still around.
