Former “Tonight Show” sidekick Ed McMahon is in “extremely serious” condition at an undisclosed California hospital, according to new reports. The 85-year-old television personality reportedly has been hospitalized for the past three weeks with pneumonia and other medical problems, and is now in intensive care. McMahon’s rep refused to reveal which hospital the star is currently being treated at; however he did confirm that the Super Bowl ad man’s wife and family members are present. Actor Macaulay Culkin of “Home Alone” fame is grieving the loss of his sister today. According to reports, Dakota Culkin was struck and killed by a car in Los Angeles on Tuesday and died from her injuries yesterday. Police say the 29-year-old stepped off a sidewalk in West L.A. just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday and was struck by a car. Authorities say Dakota was rushed to UCLA hospital with massive head trauma and died the following day. Arrest Made (Finally) in Hudson Family Murders

More than a month after police discovered the slain bodies of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in Chicago, the Oscar-winner’s estranged brother-in-law has been arrested for the murders. According to Chicago newspapers, Balfour has not been formally charged in the slayings (prosecutors say that could come in the next day or so), but he has been transferred from an Illinois state prison–where he has been held on suspicion of a parole violation–back into police custody.
