Okay, the Material Girl’s daughter Lourdes is only 11, but the mother-daughter duo plus one (Lourdes’ best friend) reportedly dropped a ton of dough this weekend at a luxurious hotel in Santa Monica. Hollywood Patriarch Dies

I recently blogged about the wonderful new addition Emmy-winning actress Mariska Hargitay and her husband welcomed into their home—a baby boy named August. Unfortunately, the tears of joy Hargitay shed just a few months ago have now turned to tears of sorrow. The actress’s father Mickey Hargitay, the actor and world champion bodybuilder died late last week. He was 80 years old. According to news reports, Hargitay died Thursday in Los Angeles of multiple myeloma. The wait is finally over for actress Mariska Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann. Hargitay, who plays NYPD detective Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, welcomed their first child into the world Wednesday afternoon. The baby boy, who was born in Los Angeles, was a week overdue and weighed in at a whopping 10 lbs. 9 oz.
