Body, Mind and Spirit

Fitness is most often equated with exercise.  But it’s so important that when striving for overall health, we look at not only the body but the mind and spirit as well. I like to think of this as a wheel with three spokes.  One spoke represents the body, one the mind and the other spirit.  When one spoke is broken or missing, everything is thrown off balance. Schools are typically all about comparing students’ intelligence with numbers. When a child enters school, he or she will be given all different types of tests to determine where he or she falls in the percentage compared to other students. In most cases schools never actually put an IQ number to match an average student’s intelligence. Controlling the Mind and the Heart

While I was reading through a few of the Psalms trying to decide what to write on for this blog, I actually came across a passage at the end of Psalm 19.
