Dancing with the Stars’ new season hasn’t officially started yet, but the show is already losing celeb hoofers. Sort of. Yesterday Jewel announced that she might be forced to pull out of the TV dance competition due to a knee injury. The show’s eighth season premiere airs in less than two weeks and the singer says she is unsure she will be able to recover in time. It is that time of year! No, I don’t mean Christmas, I mean time for the excitement of the upcoming “American Idol” season, which will start on January 19th. There were some disturbing new revelations in the Paula Abdul suicide case today. PEOPLE magazine is reporting that Paula Goodspeed sent Paula Abdul flowers last week. But, rather than sending them from herself, she signed the card “Hope you’re doing great. Here’s my new cell number, Love, J.T.” It seems as if it was a desperate attempt by Goodspeed to get Abdul to call her. By signing “J.T.” to the card, Abdul thought the flowers were from J.T. Former “American Idol” Contestant Found Dead Outside of Paula Abdul’s Home

In what’s being categorized as a “sad incident” by law enforcement officers, the body of a former “American Idol” contestant was found dead in a car near Paula Abdul’s Los Angeles home. According to news reports, 30-year-old Paula Goodspeed overdosed on drugs shortly after she parked her vehicle on a street outside of Abdul’s house Tuesday night. The Season 5 contestant was said to have been infatuated with the “American Idol” judge. Honestly, I strive to think of people in the best light possible (which is not to say that I’m always successful) but when it comes to thinking highly of Paula Abdul the word “challenging” becomes a severe understatement.
