If you are looking for a sizzling summer event to take the family to this August look no further than Reno, Nevada’s Hot August Nights. The mega-popular hot rod extravaganza is scheduled to take place from August 4-10, and this year it will feature much more than just car cruising. Families can take part in karaoke contests, sock hops and hula-hoop contests while enjoying live entertainment and the custom care showcases. A Finger-Licking Good Time

Reno, Nevada, known to many as the “Biggest Little City in the World” (or a miniature Las Vegas) is not somewhere you’d expect to find the world’s best BBQ. But, over the Labor Day weekend the “Biggest Little City” becomes home to a belly-rubbing, BBQ bonanza.
