Mardi Gras in Missouri

I’m still in shock. As I was going through my new calendar today I noticed that we are only about a month away from Mardi Gras. Fat Tuesday falls on February 5th this year. Fat Tuesday then Ash Wednesday and before long it’ll be Easter… and we’re still celebrating Christmas in our home. My daughter is up to the ninth day of Christmas and happily belted out what her true love gave to her earlier today as she eagerly awaits the Epiphany and the gifts she’ll get to open on Three Kings Day. Love Under The Arches

The English language is constantly being influenced by popular culture. (Did you know “Bootylicious” is being added to the dictionary?) Which is why I am not surprised that the “Mc” prefix derived from McDonalds has become an integrate part of pop culture. And, I suppose it’s the reason I am not surprised that someone coined the phrase, “McLove Story.” What’s a “McLove Story,” you ask? A couple from North Dakota may have the answer. World Aquarium = World Record?

World Aquarium is located in the City Museum in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. It is a must-see attraction if you are in the St. Louis area. It covers more than 13,000 square feet and allows you the opportunity to get up close and personal with small sharks, piranhas, catfish, crabs, alligators and turtles. The hands-on exhibits are without a doubt the star attractions at the aquarium.
