She took a hike when she learned that she was getting the boot, and now Star Jones Reynolds says she’s ready to make her big comeback. You’ll remember last June Reynolds made her now infamous exit from daytime’s chat fest, “The View” in true diva-like fashion. “The View” News: Rosie’s Apology and Star’s New Gig

Is it too little too late? Rosie O’Donnell used ABC’s “The View” as a venue to make a formal, on-camera apology and directly address the issue of her now-infamous attempt at “humor” by imitating a Chinese person. What a week it has been on ABC’s “The View.” On Tuesday, co-host Star Jones Reynolds made a surprise on-air announcement that she would not be returning for the show’s 10th season. Within hours PEOPLE magazine reported that Jones-Reynolds was in her words “fired” by ABC. Maybe it’s just me, but every time I tune into ABC’s “The View” another co-host is announcing that she will be departing the show to “start another chapter of her life.” Today, it was Star Jones Reynolds’ turn.
