Not Wasting Food Today

During the holidays, our food waste was a little high. We shopped a lot, cooked a lot and packed the refrigerator with all sorts of ingredients and good things to eat. Normally I try not to post about events at the Disney parks, especially for holidays, until right before they happen. We’re on the cusp of Halloween, so it seems silly to talk about a holiday that won’t come until a month after that. But sometimes I do have to mention events early, as tickets go on sale in advance. Why is it called visitation? Are our children really visiting their non custodial parent like they are guests in that home? I’ve always disliked that word. It brings to mind prisons and hospital. Visiting hours are from… you get the idea. In the state of Utah if the divorcing parents cannot agree on a visitation schedule the state allows the custodial parent every other weekend and Wednesday nights.
