Simple and Affordable President’s Day Fun

Having your kids home from school on Presidents’ Day may not sound like a ton of fun for busy parents, but with a few holiday-themed projects to keep them busy, the third Monday in February can be an exciting time. Easy Edible Easter Crafts

There are hundreds of Easter crafts that feature popular holiday candies, such as jelly beans and chocolate, but most of the finished products can’t be eaten because they contain glue and a variety of other poisonous materials. Marshmallow Sculpture

Marshmallows are a great art medium for projects. They are inexpensive, they don’t crumble or spill, and they’re edible. They are even quiet. Building with marshmallows is a great thing to do on snow days or sick days. It’s also a fun thing to put out for the kids at family gatherings. Don’t be surprised if the adults want to play, too.
