As we are anxiously preparing for a fall garage sale in a week, we are literally finding dozens of items that we completely forgot we had. Apparently we are more a group of pack rats than I thought. Sometimes making your own supplies, or substituting everyday items for certain products, is not only a good way to save money or prevent waste, but is also a lot quicker and easier than running out to the store. Get Creative When over the counter medications were being changed to remove dangerous ingredients, we were told to get rid of older products.
